Flomaton Police have issued a bulletin asking anyone in Escambia or Monroe Counties to be on the look out for persons believed to be involved in a bank robbery in Flomaton Monday.
Flomaton Police Chief Terri Tolbert said a report of a vehicle with two subjects matching the description of the robbery suspects was seen in the Huxford community Wednesday.
Tolbert described the suspects as a man and woman who fled the scene in an older model, two-toned, full-size Chevrolet pickup truck with a bent rear bumper.
A description of the female suspected included a large tattoo on her neck.
Also Wednesday, Flomaton police cleared an Atmore woman who had been identified as a suspect in the case.
Police believe the suspects in the Flomaton case are the same two people who robbed a Florala bank last week in a nearly identical incident. Police said a teller at the Florala Wachovia Bank identified the suspects in the Flomaton surveillance footage as the same people who robbed the Florala bank.
Anyone with information regarding the suspects or the vehicle should contact the Flomaton Police Department at 296-5811 or other law enforcement officials.
