Elizabeth Leigh Burke Shaughnessy

ATMORE - Elizabeth Leigh Burke Shaughnessy, 39, of Atmore died Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Baldwin County.
She was a concierge with Wind Creek Casino and Hotel, born in Argentina, Newfoundland, Canada on June 7, 1970 to Benjamin Gibson and Janice Nolan Burke Jr.
Her mother, Janice Nolin Burke, preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Shannon Lee Shaughnessy; two daughters, Ashley Brook Shaughnessy and Hillary Megan Shaughnessy, all of Atmore; father, Gib Burke and wife, Stephanie, of Atmore; paternal grandmother, Mary Burke of Foley; maternal grandmother, Annie Ruth Nolin of Brewton; one brother, Benjamin Burke II of Gulf Shores and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Pruitt officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery in Brewton.
Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Ross Presley, Shawn Amos, Larry Padgett, Lawrence Weaver, Ed Bennett and Brandon Snider.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
