ATMORE - Herman Douglas Jarrell, 74, of Atmore died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at his residence.
He was retired from the oil field in construction, born in Monroe County on Nov. 4, 1935 to the late John William and Leona Hodges Jarrell. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1954-57.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis A. Jarrell of Atmore and David B. Jarrell of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Sherry White of Atmore; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.
