ATMORE - Sarah Hortense Justice, 88, of Atmore died Monday, March 29, 2010 peacefully in her sleep at her residence.
She was a retired registered nurse, born in Atmore on Feb. 15, 1922 to the late Wiley Albert and Sallie Velma Higdon Patrick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore.
Her husband, John Harold Justice; a daughter, Brenda Jahn and a brother, Ralph Albert Patrick, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Phelan and husband, Kevin and Sally Justice, all of San Antonio, Texas; two grandsons, William Jahn and Timothy Phelan. Her last years were greatly enhanced by her companion, Chloe Daw of Atmore.
A memorial visitation will be held fro m 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. will be in charge of all arrangements.
