An investigation into the cause of a fire early Thursday morning on Martin Luther King Drive continues, according to officials.
The fire occurred on the 2000 block of MLK Drive near of Old Ship Circle and Northgate Drive just before 5 a.m. Personnel with the Atmore Fire Department and Poarch Fire Department worked to extinguish the blaze. Atmore Police Department personnel was also on the scene.
It is believed the fire could have been set by a fire bomb, but no official cause has been stated.
