ATMORE - The Rev. Rufus Rudolph Jr. a native of Birmingham and a longtime resident of Atmore was born on March 30, 1925 and died March 30, 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Johnnie M. Rudolph; two daughters, Ruthie (Thomas) Adams of Pensacola, Fla. and Phyllis Sims of Huntsville; one sister, Ora Lee Stotts of Far Rockaway, N.Y.; one brother, Ira Rudolph of Slidell, La.; seven grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church in Atmore. Internment will be held in Fairview Cemetery with Mayberry Funeral Home Atmore Chapel directing.
