Lady Chiefs push record to 19-3

Northview’s Lady Chiefs have been on a strong streak lately as they have improved their record to 19-3 on the season after their two most recent wins against Central High School and Pensacola Catholic High School.

The Lady Chiefs easily picked up their ninteenth win of the season as they were able to rout the Central Lady Jaguars 12-2 Tuesday in Bratt, Fla.
The Lady Chiefs were led on the mound by Amber McMillan, who picked up the win.
McMillan gave up two runs on seven hits, while striking out six Lady Jaguars.
The Lady Chiefs pitcher also led her team offensively hitting 3-for-3 in the win.
Also performing strong offensively were Kolbi Cobb who hit 2-for-2 with two doubles and Ashley Digmon going 2-for-3.

Northview shutout Pensacola Catholic 8-0 Monday in Bratt, Fla. to give Northview their eighteenth win of the 2010 season.
The Lady Chiefs were led offensively by Lady Chief Shawna Montgomery who hit 3-for-4 with a double and a triple.
Misty Doran picked up her 14th win on the mound this season giving up one hit in the win, while striking out eight batters.
Other Northview Lady Chiefs involved offensively included Doran who hit 2-for-2 with a double, Aimee Clarke going 2-for-4 with a double, Amber McMillan who hit 1-for-3 with a triple and Emily Vickery who hit 1-for-3 with a double.
The Lady Chiefs next game is Thursday, April 15 against Pensacola High School at 5 p.m. in Bratt, Fla.
