WEEKS BAY - Frances Sarah LaCoste Weekes, a lifelong resident of Weeks Bay, died Monday, April 12, 2010.
She was 88 years old. Frances was the daughter of Sarah Baker and Donate LaCoste. She was married to William George (Pop) Weekes of Weeks Bay on June 29, 1944 in the state of Louisiana Parish of St. Bernard.
She is survived by daughter, Margaret Ruth Twilley of Weeks Bay; grandchildren, William Melton (Bo) Weaver, wife Cindy of Foley, Mary Frances W. McPherson, husband Larry of Walnut Hill, Fla., Michael Glen (Mike) Weaver, wife Deana of Bratt, Fla., Marcus Lavon (Mark) Weaver of Orange Beach; six great grandchildren and the seventh due in June; sister, Elaine Collins; brother-in-law, Brady Z. Weekes and wife, Betty and numerous Nieces, nephews and other family.
A visitation and funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Magnolia Springs with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Rosary service will be at 9:30 a.m. at the Church.
