NHS Chiefs give Blue Devils sour senior night

The Northview Chiefs turned the Escambia County Blue Devils celebration of senior night into a tough loss as they defeated the Blue Devils 15-4 Friday at Tom Byrne Park.
The Blue Devils (9-16, 3-6) played tight for the first two innings with the Chiefs as they only allowed two runs and scored one of their own.
In the top of the third inning, the Chiefs found their stride as they scored nine runs to pull ahead 11-1.
The Blue Devils closed the gap in the bottom half of the third though as they scored three runs to make the score 11-4.
The Blue Devils and Chiefs would both go scoreless in the fourth inning, but the Chiefs scored four runs in the top of the fifth to pull ahead 15-4.
With three outs in the bottom of the fifth, the Chiefs were able to improve their record 15-6, 7-1.
Leading the Chiefs were Brandon Sheets who hit 2-for-4 with two singles and four runs scored and Dakota Stuckey who went 2-for-4 with three runs scored.
Marshall Rolin and Justin Stable the Blue Devils both going 2-for-3 with two singles and a run scored.
