Huss outraces competition to victory

Flomaton Speedway featured four classes of exciting racing Saturday night in Flomaton with the NeSmith Late Models, Street Stock, Stinger and Bomber classes all hitting the dirt track.
The big race of the night featured the NeSmith Late Models racing turn after turn trying to pull off a victory.
Flomaton’s own Josh Huss was the victor in the race with Kevin Maher of McDavid, Fla. coming in behind him in second.
Monte Skinner, of Saraland, in the 00M car took home a third place finish with David Odom, of Century, Fla., coming in fourth and Chris Grifin, of Flomaton, rounding out the Top 5.
In the Street Stock class, Bobby Resmondo, of Jay, Fla. in his No. 00 car took home the checkered flag in the feature race beating out second place finisher Cory Butler.
Jamie Young reeled in a third place finish after starting 13th with Adam Purvis taking fourth and Nick White finishing in fifth.
Spanish Fort’s Gary Watson drove his No. 48G car to a first-place finish in the Stinger feature with Jimmy Boyington finishing where he started in second place.
Curtis Gentry, of Loxley, came in right behind Boyington finishing third in the feature , while Eddie Hall and Pete Turner rounding out the Top 5.
Geoffrey Adkins, of Atmore, took home a sixth place finish.
In the Bomber feature race, Tally Warrick drove from third to first to pick up a victory at Flomaton Speedway.
Greg Burton held off third-place finisher Brian Haveard to finish second.
Levi Wells finished fourth and Doc McDaniel, of Jay, Fla., finished fifth.
