Emergency personnel responded to an accident at the intersection of South Main and Craig streets at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident involved a green Chevrolet Lumina being driven by Denise Middleton, 52, of Atmore and a white Chevrolet C-10 truck driven by Christopher Michael Allen, 19, of Atmore and sent Betty Chandler and a minor who were traveling in the Lumina to the hospital.

According to APD reports, Allen was traveling south on Main Street and collided with Middleton traveling west on Craig Street, crossing Main, sending his truck spinning.

The injured occupants were transported to Atmore Community Hospital by Atmore Ambulance.
