Fioelis beats FNB&T Athletics 13-2

The visitors from Fioelis, Fla. came to Atmore Monday night and handed a 13-2 defeat to the First National Bank & Trust Athletics in Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball action.
Jacoby (1-for-3, R) and Tyler (2-for-3, R) were the only Athletics that scored runs inthe contest that ended in a mercy rule.
Fioelis jumped out in front 4-0 in the top of the first inning, with the Athletics cutting the deficit to three runs with Jacoby crossing the plate.
It was 6-1 before the Athletics scored their second run of the game in the bottom of the third inning with Tyler scoring on a single by Bryant Quimby (2-for-2, RBI) to make the score 6-2.
Fioelis used the next two innings to close out the game scoring three runs in the fourth inning and four in the fifth inning to earn the 11-run win.
PCI Blue 14, PCI Red 6
In Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball action Monday night, PCI Blue dominated PCI Red 14-6 at Tom Byrne Park.
PCI Blue opened the game with a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, as Ian, Billy and Jason all crossed the plate, but PCI Red responded to tie the game in the bottom of the inning with Jace, Chase and Damon scoring runs.
Through the second inning, PCI Blue took a 7-4 lead courtesy of runs by Kameron, Billy, Drew and A.J., while Camron scored the only PCI Red run.
PCI Red cut into the lead in the bottom of the third with Damon scoring his second run of theĀ game to put the score at 7-4, but PCI Blue scored seven runs in the top of the fourth to go ahead 14-5.
Camron scored one final run for PCI Red in the bottom of the fourth, but any chances of a rally would end with the final out of the contest.
VFW Rangers 7, PCI White 2
Four runs in the top of the fourth gave the Atmore VFW Rangers the only lead they needed, as they defeated PCI White 7-2 in Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball action Monday at Tom Byrne Park.
C. Battles, T. Robinson, J. Hall and H. Smith scored runs in the top of the fourth inning to put their team on top 4-0.
Gavin and Diedrick cut the lead to two runs in the bottom of the inning, but Smith, C. Johnson and B. Brack widened the gap in the final inning to give their team a 7-2 win.
PCI Blue 9, State Farm Braves 4
PCI Blue put together a strong game Monday night to beat the State Farm Insurance Braves 9-4 at Tom Byrne Park in Atmore.
The Braves jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the top of the first, but PCI Blue battled back throughout the game to come away with the five-run win.
Scoring runs for PCI were Daughtry, Caleb, Talon, Sheldon, Aron, Bradyen, Josh, Jacob and Mateo.
