Braves 5, PCI Blue 4
A close, 1-point win for the Braves over PCI Blue ended the year on a competitive note for both teams Tuesday as the two squads fought through five innings to close out the season.

The Braves struck first with a run from NaDarion Steele early in the game and a second inning score from Anthony McCants gave State Farm the 2-0 lead heading into the third inning.

After two stellar defensive efforts resulting in a scoreless inning, both teams found an offensive second wind in the fourth inning. Daughtry  McGhee, Talan Daughtry and Sheldon Williams crossed home plate for PCI, but scores from McCants and D.J. Brown kept the Braves ahead with a 4-3 lead.

PCI’s Kolby Wooten kept things alive for the Blue with a fifth inning run, but a late State Farm score from Chaston Helton gave the Braves the close, 1-point win to end the season.
