More than $8M in scholarships awarded to senior class

More than $8 million of scholarships were awarded to Escambia County High School’s Class of 2021 during class day today in the school auditorium.

School Counselor Ashley Trawick said $8,057,915 was the scholarship total for the class.

Forty-seven different seniors received scholarships.

During the annual class day, the first in-person event since 2019, community awards, scholarships and school awards were awarded.
