A Pensacola, Fla. pedestrian died in a one-vehicle incident tonight on Fairfield Drive south of West Jackson Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP, a Chrysler sedan, driven by an Atmore resident, was traveling northbound on South Fairfield Drive and approaching West Jackson Street when a pedestrian walking near the painted white fog line was struck by the sedan.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene, and the crash is under investigation by the FHP.
