The Atmore City Council today approved a library board reappointment and historical preservation commission appointments during its meeting.

The city approved the reappointment of Catherine Tims to the library board, and the appointment of Shirley Darby and Greg Vaughn to the historical preservation commission.

In other business, the city:

• adopted resolution 2021-31, a resolution assessing demolition costs at 69 Martin St. The property has already been demolished, and the resolution was adopted because it allows the city to put a lean on the property to help recover some of the cost.
