The National Weather Service is monitoring three potential systems in the Atlantic, according to Escambia County EMA Director David Adams.
Adams said because of the slow start to the 2022 hurricane season, it can be easy to become complacent in monitoring the tropical weather patterns for potential threats.
The NWS’s five-day graphical tropical weather outlook indicates that it’s too early to speculate on the threat potential for the area, but it serves as a good reminder to be sure that your emergency plans and supplies are checked and up to date, Adams said.
