Thomasville defeated Flomaton 21-7 in region action tonight at FHS.

Canes head football coach Doug Vickery said it was a good game.

“I thought we played well at times,” Vickery said. “The guys fought. We had some opportunities to do some things. We had a couple of injuries that knocked us back.

“That’s kind of part of it. Thomasville was a very, very good football team. They were very physical and did a good job,” he said.

THS led 14-7 at halftime.

Flomaton visits W.S. Neal next week to continue in Class 3A, Region 1 play.
