Vivian’s Door to host town halls for underserved farmers Dec. 2 in Mobile, Baldwin Counties

Non-profit Vivian’s Door will host two informational town halls on the USDA’s Discrimination Financial Assistance Program and other farmer-related resources and programs this Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023.
The first town hall takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Daphne at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 902 Daphne Ave.; and the second town hall takes place from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in Mobile at Vivian’s Door Business Center, 2200 Government St.
This free event is open to all farmers, ranchers and forest landowners in central and south Alabama and along the Gulf Coast who want to learn more about the USDA’s Discrimination Financial Assistance Program, and other available programs and resources for agricultural producers. Refreshments will be served.
