Coastal Alabama Community College held its nursing pinning for the fall 2023 class Dec. 14 at the Conference Center on the Atmore campus.

Sixteen new nurses received their pins and celebrated their accomplishment with the lighting of their lamps and reciting the Nightingale Pledge.

Additionally, special awards were given and roses were presented to their support system.

Those who received pins included Jaraivia L. Allen, Gemina J. Lett, Erykah S. Austin, Quanterria B. Moore, Antonica D. Brown, Genelyn Prestridge, Lexis L. Carter, Kendra M. Taylor, Kari L. Gibby, Charity S. Timmons, Erica C. Hartley, Jasmine T. Tolbert, Amber N. Jackson, Victoria A. Weatherby, Shawnterrica J. Junior and Kuwandra A. Wright.
