McMann said during the interaction with Pleasant, the officer discovered that Pleasant’s drivers license was revoked and he had made some inconsistent statements.

“Pleasant gave consent to the officer to search his vehicle,” McMann said. “During the search of the vehicle, the officer discovered a prescription bottle of methylphenidate that was in someone else’s name whom Pleasant did not know.”

Pleasant was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
