PERDIDO - Mrs. Darlene Foster Stewart, 41, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at a local Hospital.
Darlene was a native and lifelong resident of Perdido; she was a loving mother and grandmother.
Her mother, Sharlene Foster preceded her in death.
Survivors include her father, Winston Foster of Perdido; her husband, Ray Stewart of Perdido; one son, Casey Stewart of Perdido; one daughter, Darla Stewart Lawley (Brad) of Bay Minette; one grandchild, Chloe May Lawley and a brother, George W. Foster Jr. (Paula) of Rabun.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial followed in Halls Fork Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
Pallbearers were Trott Fullerton, Billy Benton, Buba Bossard, Dewayne Stewart, Freddie Stewart, Miller Davis, Charles Stewart and Chase Stewart.
Petty Funeral Homes, LLC (Eastside Chapel) was in charge of arrangements.
