ATMORE - Edna E. McKinley, 82, of Atmore formerly of Davisville, Fla. died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 in Atmore.
She was a homemaker. born in Uriah on July 01, 1927 to the late John and Mattie Harris Saber.
Her husband, Edgar F. McKinley; a son, John E. McKinley; several brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa McClure of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two sons, Michael W. McKinley and Billy McKinley, both of Atmore; one sister, Mattie Moore of Pace, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Esther O’Farrell and Pauline McKinley, both of Florida; four granddaughters, Caroline McClure of Atlanta, Ga., Jessica McKinley of Pensacola, Fla., Cheyanne McKinley and Billie Jean McKinley, both of Atmore; one grandson, Wells McClure of Va.; two step grandsons, Sean Simmons and Justin Simmons, both of Pensacola, Fla.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene King and Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Interment followed in Pine Barren Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy McKinley, Sean Simmons, Mike Simmons, Wayne Singleton, Will Stabler Jr. and Bubba Cook.
Family received friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday evening at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
