ATMORE – Robbins E. White, 78, of Atmore died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 in Tuscaloosa.
White was an instrument mechanic with a textile company, born in Atmore on Oct. 13, 1931 to the late William Sidney and Maggie Flowers White Sr.
His wife, Vivian Roley White; two brothers William Sidney White Jr. and Leon White preceded him in death.
Surivivors include two sons, William S. White and wife Debra of Tuscaloosa and Stephen E. White and wife Lisa of Jackson; one sister, Mary Francis Whiteside of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy Reynolds officiating. Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers include, Phillip White, Thomas White, Taylor White, Gene O’Farrell, Jimmy Davis, David Jones and Tommy Roley.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
