Ten female and five male contestants took to the Escambia County Middle School stage Saturday in an effort to be named 2009-10 Mr. and Miss ECMS.
The contestants performed a number of routines beginning the night with a career outfit, which they used to introduce themselves and identify the profession they would like to enter.
Following the introduction, the contestants performed in a physical fitness routine as well as a casual wear presentation with each being demonstrated by the Escambia County High School cheerleading squad.
Following entertainment by the ECHS cheerleaders, the 15 contestants then showed off their evening wear and were escorted by a family member or friend.
When all was said and done, Sabrina Rivers and Quandarious Roberson were the winners of the crowns that designate them as Mr. and Miss. ECMS.
ECMS Principal Zikeyous Byrd said he thought the pageant was full of winners.
