Sherrie Hursh had a vision of a wonderful getaway cruise with her husband, Leonard, sometime next spring. That vision became a reality when the her name was drawn from among entries for a five-day cruise at Atmore Vision Center.
The couple will be sailing away to Cozumel, Mexico after Sherry’s name was drawn from among the entries on customer appreciation day at the local business.
Nikki Dole, director of operations at Atmore Vision Center, said the drawing was something they used to give back to their patients.
Dole said the cruise idea came as a result of looking for something out of the ordinary to show their appreciation.
Hursh agrees that the cruise is special.
Hursh said the couple had tentatively planned a trip for Spring 2010 and now the trip is definitely on their calendar.
Hursh hasn’t packed her bags yet, but she is making plans to enjoy some extra amenities while on the trip.
