ROBINSONVILLE - Alvin Leland Helton, 70, of Robinsonville died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 in Pensacola, Fla.
He was a farmer, born on June 21, 1939 in Robinsonville to the late Alvin P. and Margie Findley Helton, and a member of the Robinsonville Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Troy Scott Helton of Atmore; one sister, Carolyn Singleton of Robinsonville and a friend, Geraldine Godwin of Florida.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 in Robinsonville Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Robinsonville Baptist Cemetery fund.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
