CLANTON - Earl W. Ellison of Clanton, formerly of Atmore, went to be with his Lord on Dec. 2, 2009. He was born on Feb. 22, 1920 in Chilton County.
One son, Gerald L. Ellison; two sisters and two brothers, preceded him in death.
Survivors include, his wife of 66 years, Myrtle Headley Ellison; two sons, Roger Dale (Faye) Ellison of Nashville, Tenn. and Randall Keith (Pat) Ellison of Clanton; three daughters, Judy E. (David) Messick of Atmore, Phenita E. (Dan) Rudd of Molino, Fla. and Sheila E. (Dudley) Fountain of Atmore; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Lou Miller of Atmore; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Ellison Ward of Clanton; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
