Residents of Atmore will come together and “celebrate Atmore” on Feb. 4 as the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its 64th annual banquet at The Club on Hwy. 21.
The theme for this year’s banquet will be enjoying the city and everything that comes with it.
Sheryl Vickery, executive director for the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, said that everyone with the Chamber is excited about 2010 and wants everyone to celebrate the city.
At the banquet, there will be food, entertainment and speeches.
Vickery said that talent will be provided by locals.
Also at the banquet, the incoming president for the Chamber of Commerce will be presented.
Vickery said this year’s president will be Lisa Reynolds.
Every year, the Chamber chooses a corporate sponsor to work with.
Vickery said the Chamber is excited about this year’s corporate sponsor.
The banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. and attendants do not have to drive to The Club if they choose not to.
Vickery said a shuttle might be provided to the event.
