NHS Chiefs fall to Bozeman 8-0

The Northview Chiefs hit a rough patch Wednesday at home against Bozeman as they were shutout 8-0.
The Chiefs (14-6, 7-1) had trouble offensively with Bozeman as as they could only muster two hits in the loss.
Chiefs Head Coach Sid Wheatley said his team just could not find their stroke at the plate.
Leading the Chiefs on the mound was Austin Reid who picked up his second loss of the season.
In hopes of finishing the season strong, the Chiefs have gone to practice looking to improve their offense.
Wheatley said his team has been working hard with batting practice especially the day following the loss.
The Chiefs next game is Tuesday at 6 p.m. at home against Baker followed by a trip to Jay on Thursday with the game scheduled for 6 p.m.
Northview’s junior varsity opens up the afternoon at 4 p.m. against Baker.
