The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts is pleased to announce the winners in their recent art contest. The contest, run in conjunction with their upcoming performances of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," featured the Peanuts comic strip characters.
Anissa Watson, a kindergarten student at Escambia Academy, won the elementary division. Her art work will be featured on Thursday night's program cover. The winner in the middle school division was Kate Sherrill. Kate is a sixth grade homeschooler. Her art work will be featured on Friday night's program. Saturday night's program will show case the art work of Steven Mackendree, a junior at Northview who won the the high school division. All participants will have their work displayed at this weekend's shows.
