The staff of the Atmore Public Library would like to thank everyone for helping make Summer Reading 2006 a great success. Thanks to our sponsors: Alabama Power Company, Pepsi Bottling Company, Huddle House, Buster's Restaurant, Dean's Grill, Church's Chicken, First National Bank and Trust, United Bank, McDonald's and Avon. We thank Phil Johnson for getting together several of the cast members of "Hello Dolly" and giving us a sneak preview of the play. A very special thanks to The Atmore Advance for publicizing our programs and allowing the public to see what our children are involved in this summer. Thanks to Fire Chief Gerry McGhee and Police Chief Jason Dean for providing a fireman and two police officers as escorts in our 4th of July parade. Our program was a great success; attendance for all six programs was 387 children and 150 adults, total circulation for children's books was 2,491. We would not have been able to provide this program without your help.
