Christmas has come and gone again fulfilling many children's wishes with their favorite toy, while parents are breathing a sigh of relief as the day marks the end of their hectic pace.
In the days following the much-anticipated holiday, the daily routine for moms and dads will return to normal with a few gift exchanges thrown in here and there. And the children, of course, will forge new trails in the neighborhood on their new bicycles or go-carts that were left under the tree.
For the most part, all is good after celebrating Christmas. But what about in the North Pole? Have you ever wondered what Santa Claus and his elves do the day after Christmas?
After all, the elves have worked tirelessly all year making toys for all the good little boys and girls, while Santa Claus supervised.
And then Santa, one can only imagine how many hours it takes for one man to deliver all those toys to each little boy and girl.
Surely parents aren't the only ones breathing a sigh of relief. In an attempt to discover what actually goes on in the North Pole after Christmas The Atmore Advance decided to go to the experts and get their opinion on the matter.
Children from Tiny Town Daycare and First Baptist Church Preschool were able to provide us with some interesting answers to our question.
You too, may be a little surprised with some of the children's answers.
