Atmore area residents will have the opportunity to listen to key United States issues on Feb. 2 when U.S. Senator Richard Shelby visits Annie’s Community Cup.
Shelby last paid a visit to Atmore on Jan. 5, 2007 at David’s Catfish House and looks forward to making another trip to the south.
According to Shelby’s press secretary Laura Henderson, the Senator has many topics he would like to address at his Feb. 2 meeting.
Shelby has had more than 1,400 county visits since he was elected to serve Alabama. He holds a meeting in every county each year.
The visit is open to any Escambia County resident and will be held at 7:30 a.m. at Annie’s located at 125 N. Main St. in Atmore.
