Faith Outreach Center is a new church that welcomes anyone who would like to worship, according to pastor Henry Johnson.
The interdenominational church, located at 4743 Hwy. 21 N., opened on New Year’s Eve and has been up and running ever since.
Johnson’s son, Brandon, is the youth minister of music at the church.
Johnson’s wife, Sherry, has been a big part of his Christian life, traveling and ministering with him.
Johnson said the reason he and his wife established the Faith Outreach Center was because she wanted to minister to the Atmore and Poarch areas.
Johnson said lives will be touched at the new church.
Johnson said the doors are open for everyone, no matter how packed the church may get.
