The quickest way to get from point A to point B is a straight line.
This is the philosophy that led the WNSI FM 105.9 radio station to move from its home on South Main to its new home on North Main.
The new building also offers the radio station a unique way to broadcast.
Vickery said the direct shot to the power station also complements the improved power outage the station has. Listeners can now hear the WNSI shows from the Mobile bay area all the way to Pensacola if traveling on Interstate 10.
That “stuff” includes the local programs, “High School Today” from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and “Let’s Talk About It” from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Other “stuff” includes the “Morning Show” that now airs from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., Scott Moore’s “Sports Table” from 10 a.m. until noon, Max Howell’s “Maxed Out” from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and a Dennis Miller variety show from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
