When it came down to the final four ticket holders during last Saturday evening’s Draw Down at the Whistle Stop Grill, each of the lucky four decided to split the $5,000 cash prize.
Zack Brooks, Susan Smith, Andrea Chance and Sharon Brown made a group decision to split the winnings and each took home $1,200 cash.
Besides being in the running for cash prizes, ticket holders also enjoyed a variety of foods such as boiled shrimp, barbecue, artichoke dip and a variety of desserts.
Although Davis felt the evening would go well prior to the event, he was surprised at how many people chose to be a part of the Draw Down.
Davis attributes the success of the Draw Down to the dedicated members of the Blue Devils’ athletic booster club.
As far as a future Draw Down goes, Davis said the booster club plans on holding one each year.
