Rangers outscore PCI Gold, 7-2

A five-run first inning proved to be all the Atmore VFW Rangers needed to defeat PCI Gold Monday night, 7-2.
The Rangers, which did not have a hit during the game, took advantage of several walks, wild pitches and other miscues to claim the victory.
Andrew Clemmons scored twice to lead the Rangers. Arri Torres, D’Andrez McCarthy, Bo Bishop, Gage White and Triston Agerton each scored one run.
Bo Ramer and Drake McGhee scored one run each to lead PCI Gold, sponsored by Huskey Printing.
Canes 8
PCI Red 4
The Flomaton Canes’ offense came alive in the sixth inning to score four runs and break a 4-4 tie to double up PCI Red, sponsored by Audio Plus, 8-4 Monday night.
Dalton Simmons led the Canes with a double and one run scored.
Trey McGhee led PCI with a double. Tristan Montgomery chipped in with a single.
Brice McGhee, Chris Faye, Hunter Clark and Casey Jackson each scored one run for PCI.
Athletics 11
Rangers 8
J.P. Sawyer and Will Cooper both went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a single to lead the First National Bank &Trust Athletics to an 11-8 victory over the Atmore VFW Rangers on May 9.
Sawyer scored three runs for the A’s and Cooper accounted for one run.
Garrett Kirk, Ladarius Johnson and Efrem Abrams each added one single and one run scored.
Shortstop Bo Bishop led the Rangers with a double and one run scored. Cameron Mack scored crossed home plate twice following two walks.
Canes 12
Cardinals 2
The Flomaton Canes capitalized on six walks and one batter being hit by a pitch to score six runs in the second inning on their way to a 12-2 victory over the Atmore Lions Club Cardinals on May 9 in a four-inning contest shortened by the 10-run rule.
Second baseman Bryant Lane led Flomaton with two doubles and two runs scored. Jon Jon Griffis and Trey Weekes also scored twice each.
Alex Rice led the Cards with a double.
