Covington County’s Shane Turner legged out a double and single with one run scored in a 3-0 win over the Atmore Utilities Board on June 8.
Josh Dozier and Ethan King hit singles and scored the other two runs for Covington County.
Patrick McPherson tallied the only hits for Atmore going 2-for-3 with a double in the third and a single in the fifth.

Covington Country crushed the Atmore Utilities Board 13-3 in Advanced Babe Ruth baseball action.
Josh Dozier and Ethan Soles led Covington County in runs with three and both notched a hit in the game.
Shane Turner ripped a double and a single on his way to scoring two runs for Covington County.
Kyle Marco, T.J. Fleming and Ethan King score runs in the game as well.
Cody Vickery and Benn Hess each hit singles for Atmore and scored a run apiece.
Patrick McPherson scored a run as well.
