After shooting Kathy Lee Allison, 53, of Lottie to death Sunday afternoon, a bond hearing was held via teleconference Monday afternoon for James Morgan Dorriety.
Dorriety received a $100,000 bond for each count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. One count was prior to the murder and the second count was during the murder. Dorriety was also given a $10,000 bond on reckless endangerment.
Dorriety was also charged with capital murder, resulting in no bond.
Allison was shot in her vehicle just across the Escambia County line in northeast Baldwin County Sunday.
Dorriety, Allison's son-in-law, gunned her down with a high-powered rifle, according to published reports.
The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. west of the Escambia County line along Baldwin County 61 near Dean Lane when Dorriety allegedly shot Allison multiple times, while she was in her pickup truck. Allison worked as director of Economic Development for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
Nine of Allison's family members were in attendance at the bond hearing Monday.
