Mrs. Rachel Marshall Redmond, 68, died Friday, July 14, 2000.
Mrs. Redmond was a native of Repton and a lifelong resident of Walnut Hill.
Mrs. Redmond was preceded in death by her son, Robert Redmond.
She is survived by eight children, Jerry Redmond and his wife, Linda, Annie Richardson and her husband, John, Shirley Moorer and her husband, the Rev. Sammie Moorer, Joann Mitchell and her husband, Fletcher, Geraldine Fountain and her husband, David, Barbara Boggan and her husband, Randyl, Judy Redmond and Nolan Redmond, all of Walnut Hill; five sisters, Loise Pryear, Earnestine Pryear and her husband, James, Vera Watson and her husband, Floyd, Barbara Moorer and her husband, Arver, all of Walnut Hill and Annette Mims and her husband, Timothy; five brothers, Wiley Marshall and his wife, Josie, Ebenezer Marshall and his wife, Louise, Bobbie Lee Marshall and his wife, Isabelle, John Marshall and his wife, Gloria and Larry Spencer and his wife, Patsy; 35 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 22 at 1 p.m. at New Saint Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie White officiating.
Burial was at New Saint Paul Cemetery in Walnut Hill.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
