Three injured in head-on collision

A head-on collision Tuesday night in Atmore left both drivers and a passenger injured and transferred to the hospital.
The two automobiles collided at Woods Road and Pleasant Hill Circle at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday night.
The vehicles, a 2000 model Mitsubishi Eclipse and an 1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria, hit head on injuring the driver of the Eclipse, 20-year-old Serena Johnson of Century, Fla., and 51-year-year old William Thomas of Atmore, the driver of the Crown Victoria, and his passenger Eddie Bullard, 62, of Atmore.
All three were transported to Atmore Community Hospital by Atmore Ambulance.
Personnel with the Atmore Police and Fire departments as well as Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff's and Alabama State Troopers worked the accident scene.
